ASBESTOS INSPECTION & TESTING

Overview

Asbestos is one of the leading causes of airborne illnesses in schools, offices and other buildings nationwide. Exposure to asbestos fibers can cause lung cancer. An estimated 20,000 people will die each year for the next 30 years from asbestos exposure. If you have reason to believe that your building has deteriorated suspect building materials, it is imperative to have those materials tested for asbestos.

 

Services

Building Inspection - ECT provides licensed asbestos inspectors to conduct a comprehensive inspection to identify asbestos-containing building materials (ACBM). The inspection includes: 

 

  • Sample Collection

  • Sample Analysis

  • Quantification of Materials Present

  • Hazard Assessment

  • Course of Action Recommendation

  • Report Generation

Collect Your Own Sample for Testing

Spray sample area with water to prevent fibers from spreading and collect a business-card-sized sample in a zip-lock bag. For popcorn ceiling & insulation please collect from several different areas and fill a sandwich sized zip-lock.

 

Fill out our                                                and mail / bring with your sample. We also have forms at our office you can fill out when you bring your sample.

 

$85.00 for the first sample and $45 for each additional.

 

We typically receive results in 4 - 6 business days. If needed we can expedite the sample for an additional flat rate of $45. For next-day results please have your sample to us before 4pm.
